Professional headshots don’t have to be traditional, ‘smile towards the camera’ moments, they can of course be more expressive and inventive.

While it will depend on your particular industry or business, headshots can be an opportunity for self-expression and individualism. I wouldn’t suggest that if your are an accountant that you necessarily go for a headshot that has you jumping in the air with light-sabre, but headshots do present a chance to say what’s different about you compared to your competitors.
